The Jellystone Park location in Caledonia, Wis., is preparing for the upcoming summer camping season with 50 new glamping cabins, 103 new RV sites, new swimming pond, floating obstacle course, and many other improvements.
“We expect to have everything ready by late June,” said Bridget Bender, a co-owner of the park, which will reopen for the 2019 season on May 3.
The expansion will include 31 new full hook up seasonal sites, 33 full hook-up, pull-through sites, 38 full hook-up, back-in sites, and 50 glamping cabins.
A new five-acre swimming pond is also being added with a sandy beach and a Wibit floating obstacle course, which is expected to be ready for guest use by early June. The Wibit will take up close to an acre of water space and will be able to support 180 people at once.
Other park improvements include a sand volleyball court, a playground, rental pavilions, cabana rentals, and a new multipurpose building that will include a banquet hall, showers and changing rooms, laundry facilities, a snack bar and a camp store.
