Work Continues on MH Portion of the RV/MH Hall of Fame
Construction continues on the 21,000-square-foot building that will house the future manufactured housing museum at the RV/MH Hall of Fame campus in Elkhart, Ind.
“The Hall of Fame will be forming a partnership with a professional design firm in an effort to maximize the quality of the museum,” said Hall of Fame President Darryl Searer. “The new museum and expo center will demonstrate and promote the many benefits of living in a high-quality factory-built home. Exhibits will feature the growth of the industry with actual homes including today’s innovative designs. Displays will show beautiful planned communities, high-quality construction materials, efficiency of installation and site improvements, affordability and attainability.”
As construction continues, so does the capital campaign to raise money for the new building. Tax-deductible donations are still being sought.
“Never has there been a facility to showcase how vital our industry is and can be to the housing needs of this country,” said Searer. “Now is the time for individuals and companies to step up and become a part of this industry’s history and the Hall’s future. Donors will forever be memorialized as a founder etched in bronze on a significant plaque within the new facility.”
