Early graduates of the Ivy Tech Community College in Goshen, Ind., have gained more than just work experience from the five-day, 40-hour RV manufacturing class, the South Bend Tribune reports.

Students learn to use power tools, nail guns, drills and staplers, but for one student, Maria Vila, there’s confidence too.

“I am 100 percent sure (I will get a job),” she told The Tribune.

The course, which began Feb. 2, runs weekly through the end of March.

“The RV companies wanted people that were experienced at using the power tools and then the pneumatic tools, so that they don’t have to train them,” Instructor Mark Hoeflinger said.
