Workshop Spotlights How to Strengthen a Service Shop

Consultant Valerie Ziebron will show the difference between a shop that scrapes by and one that is profitable during a super session in the fixed ops track at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

The event will take place Nov. 6-10 at Paris Las Vegas.

From 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, Ziebron will cover “Cultivating a Top Performing Shop.” During this two-hour in-depth super session, she will look at small tweaks that can make a big difference to a shop’s performance.

During the workshop, attendees will learn:

  • The areas where your shop excels and that can be further developed to be strong competitive advantages
  • The areas of opportunity that need work – and specific do-able ways to turn them around
  • What top performing shops are doing differently than the rest

In addition, Ziebron, will present the workshop “Put the Advise in Advisor – Lessons from the Master Advisors,” from 8:45-9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Ziebron has interviewed and observed more than 100 top-performing service advisors to uncover tips that can help dealers build customer loyalty and profitability at the service counter. These easy to apply techniques can work for shops of all sizes and can help advisors to work more proactively and with less job stress.

During this 60-minute workshop, attendees will learn:

  • Why advising on additional service actually lightens your workload
  • How to build loyalty while selling more
  • The two magic “E” words that advisors use to build trust
