Xantrex, a manufacturer of power inverters, lithium battery systems, and solar panels, is teaming up with Peter Knize and John Sullivan, hosts of YouTube’s popular RVgeeks channel. Seventeen-year full-timers Knize and Sullivan are also the co-hosts and co-executive producers of the Discovery Channel and PBS TV show The RVers.
Knize and Sullivan will host a Facebook and YouTube Live broadcast on RV solar power at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. Pacific, Thursday, May 28.
Last year, they installed a huge 1,300-watt Xantrex solar system on their 2005 Newmar Mountain Aire. They’ll be joined by Xantrex Tech Doctor Don Wilson, an industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience in mobile power, and an instructor at the RVIA technical clinic.
The live event will be streamed on the RV Geeks YouTube channel and the Xantrex Facebook page.
During the broadcast, viewers can post questions live on either Facebook or YouTube. Dealers, installers and end-users are invited to tune in and participate.
