Yokohama Tire announced its off-road team is heading to the “The Big House” in Crandon, Wisconsin, for the Championship Off-Road season finale and a stop on the Ultra4 series national tour.

Team Yokohama members such as Andrew Carlson, Kyle Chaney, Levi Shirley, Bailey Cole and Ricky Gutierrez, among others, will compete on various rugged GEOLANDAR off-road tires — including the new A/T4 – on Labor Day weekend (Aug. 29-Sept. 1).

Yokohama is the Official Tire of Crandon International Raceway — the largest short-course off-road facility in the world.

Yokohama will have drivers in multiple races and race series during the weekend: Championship Off Road, Ultra4, Class 11 VW Sedan World Championships and Red Bull World Cup. Highlights include:

Nick and Chris Isenhouer, making their Crandon debut, are expanding their racing portfolio by stepping out of their comfort zone of desert truck racing and into a race-modified 1960s-era “Class 11” VW Beetle on GEOLANDAR A/T4s. As newcomers to the Class 11 circuit, they will be competing against Class 11 veteran and fellow Team Yokohama member Kyle Zirkus.

  • In the Ultra4 Series events, Levi Shirley and newest Team Yokohama Ultra4 racer, Phillip McGilton, will be putting GEOLANDAR MT-R tires to use in the 4400 Unlimited class, while Bailey Cole will be on GEOLANDAR M/T G003 in the 4600 Stock Class.
  • For Champ Off-Road, in the Pro4 Class, Andrew Carlson, Kyle Chaney, Cole Mamer and Kainan Baker will put GEOLANDAR X-AT and A/T-XD tires through their paces, while Ricky G, John Holtger and Nick Visser (who is second in class points) will campaign the A/T4s in their respective Pro2 and Pro-Spec Classes. Holtger is also racing in Pro-Lite where he currently holds on to second place in the points standings.

“We’ve got an all-star lineup for Crandon and the culmination of the short course racing season,” said Andrew Briggs, Yokohama’s vice president of marketing and product management. “Multiple athletes and multiple disciplines, all on our versatile line of GEOLANDAR tires, which can handle — and win — on everything from a Pro4 to a Class 11 Bug!”

Along with the Championship Off-Road Series, Yokohama’s extensive list of 2024 North American-based motorsports activities — both on- and off-road — includes Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama, Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West by Yokohama, Porsche Carrera Cup North America, Pikes Peak GT4 Trophy by Yokohama, Nitrocross, King of the Hammers, Ultra4 USA and the TrophyLite Series.
