40 Under 40: Grant Gillis
OEM Sales Manager, RV Mobile Power; With company: 2 years | Industry experience: 9 years

Grant Gillis has been instrumental in helping RV Mobile Power (RVMP) continue growth at more than 350% a year as its OEM sales manager, where he manages all OEM relationships across the country for RVMP’s generator operations. He has also assisted the company when it relocated its Indiana operations, navigated challenging regulatory changes and doubled revenues each quarter.
To note: When Grant started his division it was generating approximately $300,000 per month in revenues related to his business operations. Now, two years later, his division is bringing in $4,500,000 per month. He accomplishes all that by meeting with RVMP’s OEM partners weekly, and sometimes daily, to ensure they are happy with the company’s products.
“Grant is exceptionally well organized,” one peer states. “And his keen organization and likability combine into a world-class sales executive. He has played a huge role with ensuring that our newly developed products are demonstrated to our customers in a way that they are happy and confident in our new lines. Not only that expectations are just met, but exceeded.”
His success has not gone unrecognized. Grant has been nominated and honored as Employee of The Quarter for quarter two of 2025, and he was promoted from sales associate to OEM sales manager in June 2025.
Outside of work, Grant is just as active. When he is not spending time with his family and church, Grant is playing numerous sports, including softball, sand volleyball, golf and, yes, even Belgian bowling.
“Grant has a very bright future with our company,” another peer adds. “As we continue scaling, he will continue distinguishing himself. We look forward to promoting Grant in the near future for his excellent work output. RVMP has a goal of doing $1 billion in total revenues before the end of the decade. Grant will be key in helping us achieve these goals.”
What advice do you have for up-and-coming leaders in the RV industry?
In this industry, every day brings a new lesson through products, market shifts or the people we connect with. There is not one solo, stand-alone company or person, we all rely on teamwork. Remember that communication, follow-up, and relationships are what fuel lasting success because in the grand scope of the RV world, we all move forward together.
What does it mean to you to be a 40 Under 40 honoree as part of the RV industry?
Being named a 40 Under 40 honoree in the RV industry is an incredible honor, and I’m proud to be recognized. But for me, it’s about more than just the recognition, it’s about doing the work that needs to be done and consistently going the extra mile. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn, and no two days are ever the same. That’s what drives me to keep pushing myself, to grow through experience, and to adapt when priorities shift. There’s always room to improve, and I see this honor not as a finish line, but as motivation to keep moving forward and contributing to the future of the RV industry.
