40 Under 40: Jordan Moore

Medallion Bank National Business Development Manager, With Company: 6 years

As national business development manager at Medallion Bank, Jordan Moore helps bring RV dreams to life by providing customers with the financing they need. Since joining the team at Medallion Bank, Jordan has worked to elevate the institution to be the premier provider of subprime and near-prime financing in the market.

“The subprime market is one of the most challenging markets in the industry,” says Kenny Matthews, who has worked in finance and insurance for several dealerships. “Despite the higher rates, the company, under Jordan’s leadership, has listened to the industry and tweaked their programs to evolve as the marketplace evolves. For example, the extended terms that Medallion offers are second to none. This allows credit-challenged customers to be able to purchase an RV that may be out of their budget with other lenders, within budget.”

If these customers make their payments on time, they can later refinance at a lower rate. Jordan has also helped save Medallion Bank time and money by implementing e-contracting.

“The company has thrived under his leadership,” Kenny says. “Innovation has been a cornerstone of Medallion Bank since Jordan joined the team.”

That innovation allows him to offer top-notch training to RV dealerships, teaching them how to generate more business through financed sales.

“Jordan has been a nationwide advocate for Medallion Bank,” says John Haymond, vice president of consumer lending management at Medallion. “He has been instrumental at developing the Bank’s dealer group business.”

That includes Camping World, General RV, Bish’s RV, Campers Inn and a host of others. Jordan has spent the last several years managing 61 dealer groups totaling 903 dealership locations. The loans generated in these relationships have achieved over a half a billion dollars in financed RV loan volume.

“This is a huge value add to these dealerships, dealer groups, Medallion Bank and the RV industry in general,” Haymond says, “not to mention all the joy the RV owners have experienced in going out and camping.”

Jordan says developing long-lasting relationships with countless individuals throughout the industry at both personal and professional levels is a big accomplishment.

When he’s not working, Jordan is an outdoorsman who loves to fish, hunt, camp and spend time with his family.

Jordan’s advice for upcoming leaders in the RV space:

“Get out and be involved with as many state and national industry organizations as you are able. The more time and effort you put into the RV industry, the more opportunity comes your way.”
