40 Under 40: Noah Cronan

Camco Director of Brand Strategy, With Company: 6 years

When Noah Cronan started with Camco, the company lacked a marketing department. But that didn’t stop Noah, say his peers.

He quickly built a team of specialists to drive Camco’s success in business-to-business and consumer-driven campaigns. Noah’s approach to social media helped him establish a successful influencer program, which reaches millions of people and has expanded the company’s social media reach.

In fact, his social media strategy expanded the company’s followers from 5,000 to over 35,000 in 18 months, with many videos reaching over 1 million views.

He also developed a direct-to-consumer website that enabled Camco to adapt to changing consumer behaviors. The company’s market presence is now stronger due to the launch of an additional revenue stream on this new site.

Noah also broadened Camco’s reach in the consumer sector, realigning the brand strategy and recognition of Camco through integrated marketing, vendor negotiations, media outreach and market research.

“Noah leveraged SQL analytics to offer over 50 new product launches end-to-end within two years; formed Camco’s merchandising team to sell 39% more displays by establishing dealer parts stores; and during COVID-19 directed the first-ever virtual dealer show by using 3D tech, which broke sales records to date,” says one Camco leader. “It was such a success that Camco did it again in 2022, alongside an in-person show that he directed in Las Vegas.”

Camco has promoted Noah three times in six years. His most recent promotion was to the role of director of brand strategy. Peers say the promotions show the organization’s trust and confidence in his ability to advance the brand.

For over three years, Noah has been a dedicated manager, passionate about developing his team and fostering a collaborative work environment. His commitment to leadership has been a cornerstone of his success.

Noah also spearheaded the development of a cross-functional team within Camco to ensure all messaging and marketing aligned and followed best practices to overcome industry challenges as they arise.

“Noah has always demonstrated a hands-on leadership quality,” a peer adds. “He tackles projects by asking a lot of questions from all areas and making an assessment. He listens, gets feedback and follows through. … He inspires people to do their best by his own example.”

As a member of RV Industry Association’s (RVIA’s) Public Relations Committee, he’s offered Camco’s support at every media summit and partnered with other members to drive consumer awareness on the ease and benefits of RVing.

“Noah is always available to support our industry in every way, whether it’s contributing to RVIA and Go RVing’s media endeavors, offering industry insight from an aftermarket perspective, cross-industry collaboration with Camco influencers, market research to support the industry as a whole, and so much more,” says one industry connection.

Outside of work, Noah enjoys hiking, playing golf and traveling. He is also an avid long-distance runner and a passionate supporter of the Carolina Panthers.

Noah’s advice for upcoming leaders in the RV space:

“Remain curious and never stop learning. Embrace challenges as opportunities, prioritize building strong relationships and always keep the consumer experience at the forefront of your decisions. Success comes from a balance of resilience and adaptability in a rapidly evolving market.”
