Model Year 2027: ATC Trailers, Brinkley & Bontrager Industries

ATC Trailers

For years, ATC Trailers has built its reputation around durable, all-aluminum toy haulers designed for customers who demand strength, versatility and long-term value. For 2027, the company is expanding that foundation into new territory with the introduction of its first non-toy hauler RVs while continuing to enhance its existing Plā series with upgraded features, improved comfort and additional functionality.

The biggest announcement for the upcoming model year is the debut of ATC’s new Hōm luxury fifth wheel RV series. Designed to bring the company’s signature construction approach into a new segment, the Hōm models combine a fully welded aluminum structure with residential-inspired interiors aimed at travelers looking for a more comfortable, home-like experience on the road.

“The Hōm luxury fifth wheel RVs will be our first non-toy hauler RVs and will feature the same all-aluminum, fully welded structure as our toy hauler models, with the interior built to be as comfortable as home,” says Kaylie Miller, marketing operations manager at ATC Trailers.

The new Hōm lineup will launch with two fifth wheel floorplans: a 38-foot Rear Kitchen model and a 38-foot Rear Lounge model. The introduction represents an important step in ATC’s continued evolution, allowing the company to reach customers who appreciate premium construction and craftsmanship but do not necessarily need a toy hauler.

Alongside the Hōm introduction, ATC is expanding its Plā lineup with new floorplans and enhancements across multiple series. The Plā 650, which launched in spring 2026, adds two new deck-over models: the 3611 and 4015. By eliminating wheel wells from the interior living space, these models create improved storage opportunities while enhancing overall comfort and usability.

For 2027, ATC is also upgrading standard features throughout its Plā 550 and Plā 750 Series. New standard equipment includes true frameless windows with integrated shades, washer/dryer preparation and additional improvements designed to enhance the ownership experience. The company has also focused on climate control and insulation improvements, increasing the R-value of insulation in its Plā series by 30% while improving air conditioning systems in the Plā 650 and 750 models.

“People are really starting to notice quality within the industry as they become more selective of where to spend their money,” says Miller. “Our focus has always been on building a high-quality product, and these updates reflect our commitment to providing customers with RVs that are built to last.”

ATC will also offer a washer/dryer combo option in the Plā 750 Series, giving customers additional convenience for longer trips and extended stays.

While the company continues to develop premium offerings, ATC has also found success by expanding accessibility within its lineup. The Plā 450 Series performed particularly well during the past year, appealing to customers looking for a smaller, more utilitarian RV without sacrificing the company’s construction standards.

“We saw a lot of success with our Plā 450 Series this year,” says Miller. “These are smaller, more utilitarian units that provide customers with ATC quality at an entry-level price point.”

That balance between durability and accessibility is expected to remain a key part of ATC’s strategy moving forward. As RV buyers become increasingly focused on value, construction quality and long-term ownership, the company believes its aluminum framework and attention to detail will continue to resonate with consumers and dealers alike.

ATC will showcase its 2027 lineup at Open House in Indiana, with its display located at the RV/MH Hall of Fame. Dealers attending the event will have the opportunity to see the expanded Plā lineup as well as the company’s new Hōm fifth wheel models.

With the addition of luxury fifth wheels, upgraded amenities and continued refinement of its existing products, ATC Trailers enters the 2027 model year with a broader portfolio designed to appeal to a wider range of RV enthusiasts while maintaining the engineering principles that have defined the brand.

Brinkley RV

Brinkley RV is continuing to expand its product portfolio for 2027 with a focus on versatile floorplans, residential-inspired interiors and features designed around how today’s RV owners actually use their campers, says Jerimiah Borkowski, marketing director at Brinkley RV. From toy haulers and fifth wheels to family-friendly travel trailers, the company is introducing new models that emphasize comfort, flexibility and additional sleeping solutions.

For 2027, Brinkley is adding several new floorplans across its Model G, Model Z, Model I and Model Ix product lines. The new offerings are designed to meet a variety of customer needs, from adventure-focused travelers looking for toy hauler capability to families seeking more sleeping space and couples wanting a comfortable getaway unit.

The new Model Gx 3450 brings a luxury toy hauler option with an 11-foot garage, flex space with a half bath and a premium residential interior. The floorplan also features an L-shaped sofa with Brinkley’s EZ-Out bed, providing additional sleeping capacity without sacrificing living space.

The Model Z 3510 offers a large rear residential kitchen, rear bunkhouse and laundry/flex space with cargo capabilities. Measuring 34 feet, 11 inches, the model combines family-friendly functionality with upscale amenities, including the popular L-shaped sofa with EZ-Out bed.

Brinkley is also expanding its Model I lineup with the Model I 290, a 33-foot, 11-inch floorplan featuring rear bunk beds, a spacious kitchen and pantry, walk-through bathroom, king bed and underbed drawer storage. For customers seeking a smaller footprint, the Model Ix 24 provides a family-friendly luxury travel trailer experience with rear double bunks, comfortable living space and residential-inspired features. The Model Ix 25 is designed for couples or solo travelers, offering rear living, ample storage and a premium interior in a 29-foot, 11-inch package.

One of the biggest areas of focus for Brinkley’s 2027 lineup is creating more flexible sleeping solutions. The company says customer feedback has driven the continued expansion of its L-shaped sofa designs, which combine comfort with added functionality.

“The L-shaped sofa has been a very popular, very comfortable addition to our floorplans across the lineup and our owners have been asking for additional sleeping space,” Borkowski says. “We kept two of the recliners in the L-sofa and added an EZ-Out bed to answer that request.”

The EZ-Out bed is designed to make converting the sofa into additional sleeping space simple and accommodates additional guests without requiring a larger floorplan.

For 2027, Brinkley is also introducing several new standard features across its lineup. Dual-pane windows will become standard on both the Model G and Model Z lines. Model Z units will feature the Brinkley Platinum Smart-Command Center with touchscreen, app control and one-touch awning control. Model I models will add the Furrion 18K Chill Cube with heat pump, solid-surface bathroom countertops and a one-touch automatic leveling system. Model Ix models will include a fiberglass front cap and solid-surface kitchen countertops.

The company says updated aesthetics will also be a key highlight for dealers and customers. All Model G and Model Z floorplans will feature a refreshed color palette with updated cabinetry, flooring and hard-surface and wood finishes, creating a more modern residential feel.

“The need for additional sleeping areas continues to be one of the biggest trends we’re seeing for 2027,” the Brinkley RV team says. “Our new floorplans and features are designed to give customers more flexibility and comfort while maximizing the space they have.”

As Brinkley continues to grow its lineup, the company remains focused on responding to customer feedback and evolving camping preferences. The company also plans to continue expanding its lineup with additional new floorplans in the future, giving dealers and customers more options across multiple RV segments.

Open House attendees can find the company’s display at the Brinkley RV campus.

Bontrager Outdoors & SGC Campers

As RV consumers continue searching for affordable, well-built products that deliver the features they need without unnecessary costs, Bontrager Outdoors & SGC Campers is responding with a redesigned 2027 product strategy focused on efficiency, value and customer-driven innovation.

The company, which has roots in the overland market through SGC Truck Campers, is expanding its lineup with new floorplans and construction updates designed to meet changing consumer expectations. One of the highlights for 2027 is the new 17DB stand-up camper — a 17-foot model that adds features customers have been requesting, including increased sleeping capacity and a dry bath.

“With our roots in Overland having started with SGC Truck Campers in 2019, we will be offering more robust and easier-to-use accessory options available for both dealer and consumer,” says Jason Bontrager, CEO and owner of Bontrager Outdoors & SGC Campers. “We will be rolling out a new 17-foot stand-up camper (17DB) with a more aerodynamic front styling, higher sleeping capacity and dry bath.”

The addition of a dry bath addresses a growing preference among customers who want a dedicated shower area in a compact camper. Previously, many models in this size category featured wet baths, making the new 17DB an important expansion of the company’s small-to-mid-size camper offerings.

For 2027, Bontrager Outdoors & SGC Campers is making significant changes to its construction approach. The majority of products will feature metal-sided exterior walls as a standard feature, with fiberglass exterior sidewalls available as an option for customers in areas where hail damage is a greater concern.

Bontrager says the updated construction strategy is designed to make products more affordable while improving manufacturing efficiency. By reducing waste, streamlining product options and increasing production throughput, the company aims to provide customers with more accessible RV choices without sacrificing quality.

“Consumers are looking for more economical, yet well-built RVs,” Bontrager says. “In an effort to meet that demand and customer requirements, we have completely redesigned the construction of our products for MY2027.”

The company’s approach reflects a broader trend across the RV industry, as buyers continue to evaluate value and affordability. Rising prices have led many consumers to seek simpler, more economical options that still provide durability and comfort.

“In general, prices across the entire RV industry are high,” Bontrager says. “They would like to see more economical options. We are answering that with our MY2027 product lineup.”

Among the company’s most successful products this year have been smaller to mid-size towables, along with popular features such as power awnings and outdoor kitchens. Those customer preferences continue to influence Bontrager’s 2027 development strategy, with a focus on practical features that enhance the camping experience.

The company also continues to expand its accessory offerings, allowing customers to personalize their campers based on their individual needs and travel styles. By offering a more affordable base product, Bontrager says consumers can choose where they want to invest in upgrades and accessories.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026 and into 2027, Bontrager describes the RV market as steady but facing ongoing challenges. Interest rates, fuel prices and global economic conditions remain important factors influencing consumer confidence and purchasing decisions.

On a scale of one to 10, with one being poor and 10 being excellent, Bontrager rates the current market at about a five. However, he believes improvements in economic conditions could help strengthen the industry.

With its redesigned construction methods, expanded camper offerings and continued focus on affordability, Bontrager Outdoors & SGC Campers is positioning its 2027 lineup to meet consumers where they are — providing quality, functional RVs designed around real-world needs.

At Open House, Bontrager Outdoors & SGC Campers are displaying at the company’s corporate offices located at 19974 County Road 6 in Bristol, Indiana.
