Fleetwood RV’s 2027 lineup is a direct response to motorhome buyers who want the comforts of home combined with the freedom to travel farther and stay longer.
The company will introduce new floorplans across its Fortis, Frontier and Discovery models and expanded technology, safety, connectivity and personalization options throughout its Class A lineup. The updates emphasize residential living, family-friendly layouts and features that make life on the road more convenient.
According to Director of Sales Doug Miller, dealer and customer feedback played a key role in shaping Fleetwood’s MY2027 lineup. Specifically, they asked for:
- Versatile floorplans for families and groups
- A stronger residential experience
- Greater personalization and contemporary design
- More emphasis on technology and connected ownership
- Improved driving confidence and everyday usability
The all-new Fortis 35R expands the company’s gas Class A lineup with a floorplan that maximizes living space. Opposing slide rooms in the front create an open living area, while a private, rear king bedroom provides residential comfort. The coach also includes a Dream Dinette, jackknife sofa and available theater seating, along with 160 cubic feet of exterior storage.
Buyers can choose from five new full-body paint schemes. Upgraded technology includes standard smartphone- and tablet-controlled Multiplex controls, a 50-inch exterior television and a 100-watt solar panel to maintain the coach’s four 6-volt house batteries.
Expanded driver assist capabilities include Advanced Vehicle Safety with adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning, plus optional collision mitigation. SumoSprings, a steering stabilizer, and LiquidSpring suspension improve suspension and driver handling.
Connectivity includes Winegard 360+ with a 4G gateway, SG-ready capabilities and available Starlink.
For buyers seeking a larger diesel coach, Fleetwood’s Frontier 39B fills the bill. The triple-slide floorplan combines dedicated bunk beds, a bath-and-a half configuration and a private, rear king bedroom. The 39B also boasts 192 cubic feet of exterior storage.
The Frontier includes redesigned cabinet doors and drawer fronts, new window treatments, fresh exterior paint selections and updated decor and wood combinations. Buyers can tailor the interior with available power theater seating, multiple dining configurations and optional side-by-side laundry appliances. The Aqua-Hot 400D provides continuous hot water and even hydronic heating throughout the coach.
Technology also plays a prominent role in the Frontier. Optional equipment includes Starlink satellite connectivity, LTE Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, solar power, Mobileye collision mitigation, a Hide-A-Loft electric drop-down bed, central vacuum system, power shore-cord reel and a 90-inch full-bay slideout storage tray.
Fleetwood is also expanding its premium Discovery lineup with two new floorplans.
The Discovery 38K targets families and larger travel groups by offering sleeping accommodations for up to eight while retaining a residential bath-and-a-half layout, rear king suite, heated porcelain flooring, Aqua-Hot heating and generous interior and exterior storage.
The Discovery 38L is designed specifically for couples, providing what Fleetwood describes as a luxury resort-style living experience focused on two-person travel.
Discovery interior updates include redesigned cabinet doors and drawer fronts, a pivot-style mid-bath door for easier movement through the coach and new decor collections featuring updated fabrics, bedding, countertops, backsplashes and interior accents. Eight new exterior paint options, multiple cabinetry finishes and black interior hardware further modernize the Discovery’s appearance.
Connected technology in the lineup includes Safe-T-View camera integration that allows side-view and backup-camera images to be displayed on interior televisions, smartphone- and tablet-based Multiplex controls that can be paired with an available Technology Package that adds LTE Wi-Fi, a cellular booster, solar charging, Mobileye collision mitigation and app-based remote access.
Buyers can also select available Starlink satellite internet, a dishwasher, motion power lounge, Hide-A-Loft electric drop-down bed and freestanding dinette with credenza.
While the MY2027 introductions focus heavily on new floorplans and features, Miller says Fleetwood’s established products continue to resonate with buyers. He shares the company’s top sellers are the Bounder and Discovery brands, and that the company is also seeing momentum outside its Class A portfolio.
“We continue to expand upon our Class C offerings and are seeing success in numerous price points based on the feature sets of the product,” he says.
Looking ahead, Miller expects the market to stabilize after several years of shifting demand. “We are optimistic that the market will flatten,” he says.
Fleetwood RV will display its MY2027 lineup during the Elkhart Open House at 2707 County Road 15.
Renegade RV
As RV buyers continue to push farther off the beaten path, Renegade RV is pushing the limits of what a luxury Super C can do.
Headlining the company’s 2027 lineup is the all-new Explorer TS (Twin Screw) model, a luxury Class 8 Super C designed with maximum towing capacity, long-haul comfort and advanced technology.
According to Chris Cook, director of sales for Renegade RV, the Explorer TS was developed to meet changing customer expectations in the premium Super C market.
“Consumers are looking for greater towing capability, enhanced off-grid performance, long-distance travel comfort, residential amenities and advanced technology integration,” Cook says. “The Explorer TS meets those needs.”
Built on the Freightliner Cascadia 116 chassis, the Explorer TS introduces a second powered rear axle, or “Twin Screw” configuration, which increases carrying capacity while delivering a 30,000-pound towing capacity and enhanced driving stability. The coach also offers an optional cab-over bunk for more sleeping space.
The Explorer TS comes equipped with three roof-mounted air conditioners; a 12.5-kW generator; Aqua-Hot 450D hydronic heating; a 540Ah lithium battery system, scalable to 1,080Ah; and a 600-watt solar package, scalable to 1,000 watts.
Standard equipment also includes a factory-installed Starlink system, a recordable 360-degree camera system, and electric dump valves.
Renegade also continues to build on the success of the Verona and Veracruz models.
The Verona, built on the Freightliner M2-106 Plus chassis, receives two new triple-slide floorplans. The new 40VTB and 40VTR offer more layout choices and maximize interior living space.
Other updates include porcelain tile flooring throughout the coach, woven vinyl flooring in slide rooms for improved durability, standard dual high-capacity lithium batteries for greater off-grid capability and an optional heated floor system. The cab-over bunk also becomes standard equipment for 2027. There is even ceramic window tint with IR rejection to reduce solar heat gain and improve interior climate control.
The Veracruz, built on the Ford F-600 chassis, also expands with two new floorplans.
The 33VDS features a redesigned living room and kitchen layout with more countertop space and improved dining accommodations. The 33VRS increases walk-around bedroom space, has more windows and three 200-watt solar panels that come standard for added off-grid capacity.
Cook says the Verona and Veracruz have been among Renegade’s strongest-performing products over the past year, reflecting continued demand for premium Super C coaches.
Renegade sees several trends shaping the motorhome market, including growing demand for greater towing confidence, extended off-grid capability, residential-style interiors and integrated technology.
“Renegade RV is maintaining its strength and fortifying its market position with the addition of new models and features like those in the Explorer TS,” Cook says.
The Explorer TS meets those demands by combining commercial-grade capability with the luxury appointments found in high-end diesel pushers. From its heavy-duty chassis and twin powered rear axles to its scalable lithium battery system and integrated Starlink connectivity, the coach is designed for owners who expect to travel longer distances, tow larger loads and spend more off grid.
