Truma Offers System Training for RVTI Level 3 Certification

Truma

Truma North America, a partner of the RV Technical Institute (RVTI), is now one of the first component suppliers to offer Level 3 Specialty Technician training.

Technicians who have completed Level 1 and Level 2 RVTI training can now further their education with specialty training. Truma AquaGo, Aventa, Combi and VarioHeat training will be available for technicians pursuing their Appliance Specialist certification.

“We have worked closely with the RVTI over the years and look forward to giving more technicians in-depth training,” said Truma Head of Service Kyle Hastings. “Being able to get our systems in front of technicians gives them a better understanding of what sets us apart and helps them provide our ‘Simply Better’ experience to their customers.”

Truma currently offers regional training sessions that provide techs with the highest levels of training on all four Truma systems. Each session includes a classroom presentation as well as hands-on troubleshooting and repair for the Truma AquaGo and Truma Combi.

“Just seeing the products in front of us and being able to break the individual appliances down made it a lot easier to understand and repair in the future,” said Lee Robertson, who attended the Charlotte, North Carolina, training in June. “I have been in the business for over 20 years now and was surprised to see the quality of the appliances.”

The training sessions allow participating technicians to earn credits toward their RVTI Level 3 certification in addition to continuing education credits for RVTI recertification. For technicians looking for training opportunities in 2023, Truma still has six training sessions with seats remaining. Techs only need to attend one two-day session to receive full training on four Truma systems.
