Century Chemical Sponsors YWCA North Central Indiana’s Donation Match Campaign
Century Chemical Corp. announced it is sponsoring the YWCA North Central Indiana’s Spring/Summer Donation Match Campaign, pledging a dollar-for-dollar match for the first $10,000 in gifts made during the fundraising effort. This campaign directly supports Safe Haven, the YWCA’s critical program for survivors of domestic violence.
Running from late June through September, this annual appeal highlights stories of courage from survivors who have broken free from abuse and begun rebuilding their lives. The funds raised and matched will support Safe Haven’s vital services, including emergency housing, counseling, legal advocacy and wraparound care for women and children in Elkhart County.
“This funding push is hugely important in supporting our local community,” said Denyse Pontius, CEO of Century Chemical Corp. “Our YWCA Safe Havens leave a light on for all of us, offering resources and hope day or night. I’m honored to contribute to this campaign and encourage others to help make an impact alongside us.”
Century Chemical’s support ensures that donations go even further, empowering the YWCA to meet increasing demand for services and help more individuals find safety, support and hope.
A donation website will go live in June, where supporters can read a survivor’s story and make a gift that will be matched, dollar for dollar, by Century Chemical. Stay on top of the latest news from the YWCA of North Central Indiana HERE.
“We are so very grateful to Denyse and the entire team at Century Chemical,” said YWCA CEO Amy Hill. “We know, without the support of community leaders, like Century Chemical, we cannot do this vital work to help victims of abuse not only survive, but thrive,” added Hill.
