Puma Towable RVs To Expand, Forest River Announces

Puma RV, a division of Forest River, Inc., announced Friday the strategic expansion of its Puma Towable RV lines. This initiative aims to advance operational excellence, enhance product offerings for dealers across the country, and provide customers with a clearer selection and added value across all travel trailer segments, the company said.

Founded in 2003, Forest River said that Puma has built a legacy of reliability, innovation and customer satisfaction. This expansion builds upon its reputation by offering an operational framework that will take the brand into its next chapter.

Two new products, the new Puma Mesa and Grand Mesa fifth wheels, deliver luxurious and spacious interiors, residential-style amenities and advanced construction techniques, Forest River said. The new Puma Tracks laminated travel trailer series is built with value and versatility, offering a wide range of floorplans — including several half-ton towables — suitable for various lifestyles.

“By expanding the Puma brand, we provide our dealers with a more cohesive product lineup,” said Fred Hershberger, Group General Manager for Palomino and Puma. “This positioning allows us to deliver consistency in quality and support, ensuring our customers have the best possible experience.”

Forest River said the consolidation will result in:

  • Enhanced dealer support: A unified sales and service network will offer dealers streamlined communication and resources.
  • Consistent customer experience: Standardized processes across both brands will ensure customers receive reliable support and service.
  • Expanded product offerings: Dealers will benefit from a broader range of floorplans and features, catering to a diverse customer base.

Over the years, Forest River said that Puma has been recognized by the RVDA for multiple Quality Circle Awards, reflecting their commitment to quality and dealer satisfaction.

“Our goal is to build RVs that dealers are proud to offer, and customers are excited to own,” Hershberger added. “This consolidation is a step forward in achieving that vision.”
