The Hushower family of Zionsville, Indiana, enjoyed a week of RVing last week at Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph campground in Santa Claus, Indiana. The family won the use of the IMHA-RVIC “Green Machine,” the association’s 35-foot Coachmen Mirada motorhome, as a silent auction item during the Make-A-Wish BIG Wish Gala Indianapolis. Held March 29 at the JW Marriott Downtown, the Hushower family’s winning bid raised $3,000 for Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana.
Past association President Ken Eckstein and his family have been enthusiastic supporters of Make-A-Wish for years. The Eckstein family was a sponsor of this event, and this year Ken helped coordinate the donation of the Green Machine’s use as an auction item, further contributing to Make-A-Wish’s terrific work.
