Nexus RV To Unveil 39DS Ghost at Tampa SuperShow
Nexus RV announced it will debut its 39DS Ghost model at the Tampa RV SuperShow.

The 39DS Ghost has an exclusive MV International chassis, which includes a 6.7 Cummins engine with 360 HP and comes with an Allison 3000 transmission, which National Sales Manager Gary Yeoman said, “allows us to have the industry-leading 20,000-pound towing capacity — the majority of Super C’s in our segment only pull 15,000-pound capacity.”
Yeoman also said the Ghost has large “bus-style storage compartments,” giving a larger than normal storage capability. He said they’re “pretty excited about the first five-person seating reclining sofa in the motorized unit.”
He explained that two people can lie on the sofa with their feet facing each other, but they can also have five people seated in a reclined position. “These sit directly across from the TV so there’s no neck craning in order to see the TV,” he added.
The 39DS Ghost Super C has a 1,200-pound occupant capacity with a retractable outside patio with glass sliding doors. That outside patio is accessible through the rear master suite, which also has a king-size bed, his and her wardrobes and a washer and dryer. It also has a new Sherwin-Williams paint design, and they are introducing their new “Bourbon” interior package.
Yeoman explained the Bourbon interior was inspired in part by the Ford King Ranch trim. It features burnt orange or bourbon-whiskey colored leather furniture and charcoal cabinetry. “We pop those cabinets with gold handles,” Yeoman said. The new Bourbon interior package is available throughout their product line.
Nexus RVs are all steel composite construction, which is 72% stronger and maximizes thermal and sound insulation.
Yeoman said they’ll also be debuting for the first time at a retail show the Maximus 34MX, which was voted a “Must See RV for 2026.” The Maximus 34 MX was at the open house, Yeoman said, but this will be the first time at a retail show.
Also at the Tampa show, Yeoman said attendees will be able to “shop the most chassis on display at one time, including the Ford E350, Ford E450, Ford F650, Chevy 6500, International CV Chassis, International MV chassis and S2 Freightliner chassis.”
He said they’ll have the most chassis platforms on display, and they’ll also have the chassis available for trying out at the test driving lots.
Yeoman said, “The Ghost (39DS Super C) is going to be a home run — the first of its kind in the industry with a patio off the master suite. It’s a great look.”
