RV Shipments Up 2.5% YOY in 2025

Results for the RV Industry Association (RVIA)’s December 2025 survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments ended the month with 23,220 units, a 0.3% growth rate compared to the 23,153 units shipped in December 2024. For the 2025 year, RV shipments totaled 342,220 units, a 2.5% growth rate from last year’s total.

“2025 year-end shipments finished up slightly and in line with the forecasts shared by ITR Economics throughout the year,” said Craig Kirby, RV Industry Association president and CEO. “As we move into 2026, we are optimistic that this modest upward trend will continue, fueled by improving economic conditions and an incredible lineup of travel milestones perfect for RVing. Between the nationwide celebrations for America’s 250th birthday, the global excitement of the FIFA World Cup and the 100th anniversary of Route 66, there has never been a more iconic year for travelers to experience the freedom of the open road.”

Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month down (-1.9%) from last December with 20,425 shipments. Motorhomes finished the month up 19.5% compared to the same month last year with 2,795 units. For the year, towable RVs finished at 306,191 units, up 2.5%, and motorhomes totaled 36,029 up 3.3%.

RVIA noted that November shipment counts were revised upward by 99 units due to late arriving survey responses.
