Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) congratulates KCN Campgrounds as the new owner of the Dallas/Arlington KOA Holiday. KCN Campgrounds acquires and manages destination campgrounds with an emphasis on guest-first improvements, strong operational standards and long-term value within the KOA system, according to a press release from KOA.
Located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, the campground offers a home base for travelers exploring Arlington’s top attractions and the broader Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Campgrounds have a significant economic and cultural impact on local communities, according to the press release. Campers injected $61 billion into local economies in 2024, with the average camper spending $200 daily while camping, as found in KOA’s annual Camping and Outdoor Hospitality Report. Campers are looking to experience the culture of local regions, with 27% of campers saying they are interested in visiting small towns, and another 27% drawn to food tourism.
Each KOA Holiday offers full-service RV sites with a KOA patio and deluxe cabins with full bathrooms.
The Dallas/Arlington KOA Holiday features a swimming pool, playgrounds, bike rentals, a KampK9 dog park, and guest-favorite essentials like Wi-Fi, cable TV, a Kamping Kitchen, propane and group gathering space. Accommodation options range from fully furnished deluxe cabins to full-hookup RV Sites, including upgraded deluxe RV sites featuring a private KOA Patio with outdoor furnishings and a grill.
