In 2025, Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) strengthened its role as the leading business coalition advancing the $1.2 trillion outdoor recreation economy and its 5 million jobs.
Together with its 80 members representing 110,000-plus businesses, ORR translated growing participation into meaningful policy wins — from the historic signing of the EXPLORE Act to defending access to public lands, celebrating state offices of outdoor recreation and advancing rural development strategies.
It expanded cross-sector partnerships, reinforced outdoor recreation’s economic and community health benefits, supported rural communities nationwide and advanced technology and innovation throughout the outdoors.
As ORR looks to 2026, it remains focused on expanding access and infrastructure, strengthening state recreation economies, advancing smart trade policy and elevating outdoor recreation as a cornerstone of national health and resilience.
