RV, Marine Veterans Co-Author Leadership Book

Two longtime leaders in the RV and marine industries have released a new leadership book aimed at helping organizations recruit and develop top-performing teams.

Jamison Carrier and Dominic Zappia have co-authored “Building a Championship Team,” a practical guide for hiring, leading and developing high-performance employees. The book features a foreword written by bestselling leadership author Dave Anderson and is available on Amazon.

Carrier and Zappia bring decades of combined experience working inside dealership organizations and advising teams across the RV and marine industries.

“For years we watched companies struggle with hiring the right people,” said Carrier. “Traditional interviews tend to reward personality rather than performance. If you want to build a team that wins, you need a system that identifies top performers before you hire them.”

The book outlines the hiring framework and leadership principles the two developed after years of helping organizations improve performance and build stronger teams.

“We wrote this book for leaders who are tired of guessing when it comes to hiring,” said Zappia. “Building a championship team isn’t about luck. It’s about clarity, accountability, and putting the right people in the right roles.”

Carrier began his career selling RVs in the 1990s and later helped grow a national dealer group from roughly 50 locations to more than 150. He later founded Relentless Dealer Services, a consulting and training company serving RV and Marine dealerships nationwide.

Zappia has invested two decades working directly with dealership teams, helping leaders implement performance systems, develop finance and sales teams, and improve dealership operations.

Together, Carrier and Zappia have worked with hundreds of dealership teams across North America. Today Carrier leads TeamNavX, a recruiting firm focused on helping organizations  build stronger teams.

Zappia serves as Senior Vice President of RV & Marine for EasyCare, where he works closely with dealership partners across North America.
