Traveling in an RV can be a terrific way to start checking off boxes on the list of every national park in America. Having an RV as your home base and staying at an on-site national park campground gives you more time to see the sights and immerse yourself in nature. But, many RVers want campgrounds that offer hookups so they can extend their stay to more than just a few days. This often leads to the question of which national park has the most RV hookups.
With 310 campsites with electricity, water and sewer hookups, Yellowstone National Park’s Fishing Bridge RV Park, located near where the Yellowstone River exits Yellowstone Lake, has the most RV hookups of any park in the U.S. National Park Service (NPS) system. According to NPS data, Yellowstone hosted 37,261 overnight RV campers in 2025, and it’s the third-most visited national park. Compare this to the NPS’s most-visited national park, Great Smoky Mountains, which saw 141,354 overnight RV guests — and just 10 campsites at Look Rock Campground offer electric and water hookups. Zion National Park, the second-most visited NPS site, had 84,450 overnight RV stays in 2025 — and Zion’s Watchman Campground offers just 92 sites with electricity.
Yellowstone’s Fishing Bridge RV Park Offers a Lot for Visitors
Choosing Fishing Bridge RV Park as your base camp in Yellowstone might help you avoid long lines entering the park. It’s near the East Entrance — which can be less busy than the West or South gates. Plus, in addition to full-hookup sites, there’s a dump station, bathrooms with flush toilets, and coin-operated showers. There’s also a Visitor’s Center, a shop for RV parts and repairs, and the Fishing Bridge General Store that sells souvenirs, groceries (including fresh produce and meats), and camping supplies. There’s even a café in the store if you don’t feel like cooking, or you just want some ice cream. Access to coin-operated laundry machines makes it easy to extend your trip.
While you’d think the 310 full-hookup sites at Fishing Bridge RV Park would be plenty to go around, these sites fill up quickly.
