Nexus RV Unveils Rebel Air 4×4 Super C

The chassis and suspension is where Nexus focused on improving comfort and performance to boondocking campers, the company said. The Rebel Air is now one of the only 4x4s in the Super C segment with air suspension standard on the rear axle. Further advancements to the Rebel Air are enhanced HD shocks replacing the OEM shocks in front of the unit. Additionally the unit is equipped with a larger LP tank (21-gallons) and Showermiser water reclamation system to conserve water usage.

“We are thrilled to present a product to our dealers and consumers that meets the demands of the market. Super Cs are the fastest growing category in the motorized segment, making up nearly 15% of all motor sales this year. The 4×4 Super C category is up 34% over last year’s sales volume,” said Gary Yeoman, national sales manager.

“This segment is our expertise as Nexus builds on the most chassis platforms (Ford, Chevy, International and Freightliner) compared to any other OEM. When we first launched the Rebel in 2021, it quickly became one of the top-selling Super Cs in the industry. Over the past 4 years, a lot of new players have entered this segment to capture the growth of off-road enthusiasts. We wanted to focus on performance and extending the off-grid camper’s capabilities,” Yeoman said. “Our partnership with Kelderman allows us to offer the best suspension upgrade in the industry. Kelderman has been providing high-end air suspension packages for over 50 years and has brought quality performance to companies such as John Deere. The Rebel Air will now be the only 4×4 with air suspension standard on every unit. Each OEM shock has been replaced with Raptor and HD Shocks to improve handling in the front and rear of the unit. The XT4 option will give our customers a rugged front bumper that is equipped with LED flood lights and a Grille Guard. Additionally, the XT4 included 800W of solar panels, 37-inch all terrain tires, 21-gallon LP Tank, Showermiser, lithium batteries and a black-out wheel package.”
