Meyer Distributing Forms Partnership With Gorilla Mounts

Meyer Distributing announced a new partnership with Gorilla Mounts.

Gorilla Mount is an Australian Starlink Mini mount manufactured from glass-reinforced nylon — the same high-performance composite used in MAXTRAX recovery boards — chosen specifically for its combination of impact strength, UV resistance and flex-fatigue durability in harsh outdoor conditions. Unlike the brittle, unreinforced plastic mounts that ship standard with Starlink Mini, or an overpriced aluminum mount, the glass-nylon construction resists cracking and shearing under wind load and vibration, even after repeated setup and teardown in the field.

“The mount installs in under 5 minutes with basic tools and fits standard Rhino-Rack roof racks, ARB Base Racks, and magnetic vehicle mounts utilizing a rubber-coated pot magnet,” said Matt Wadley, company director for Gorilla Mounts. “It pairs with corrosion-resistant hardware for coastal and off-grid use. Designed and tested in Australia — the same environment that’s made materials like this the standard for rugged 4×4 gear. It’s built to hold up trip after trip, not just survive the first one.”

“Starlink Minis are popping up in so many categories now,” said Nick Gramelspacher, vice president of brand strategy for Meyer. “When I was racing down in Mexico last year for the Baja 1000, I had no idea how important these units are and how well they function. We were in the middle of nowhere for a week and were still able to stay connected with family and work. Having the proper mount for your application (racing, RV, home, commercial, fleet, etc.) is essential to keep your hardware secure and safe when at the campsite or blasting through the desert!”
