Encore RV To Attend Overland Expo East With Bumgarner Camping Center
Encore RV is heading to Overland Expo East, Oct. 23-25 at the Oak Ridge Estate in Arrington, Virginia, bringing three of its bestselling adventure trailers and some serious off-grid capability to one of the premier overlanding events in the country.

Encore RV will be partnering with Bumgarner Camping Center of Lenoir, North Carolina, showcasing the ROG 12BH-FB Survival Series, ROG 14RKB Survival Series and the newly renovated VENU 17TB. Factory representatives from Encore RV will be on hand throughout the event alongside the Bumgarner Camping Center team to answer questions, demonstrate features and give attendees an up-close look, Encore RV said in a recent release.
Both the ROG 12BH-FB and VENU 17TB will arrive fully equipped with Encore’s Power-Up and Power+Plus Packages, designed to deliver extended off-grid capability. These systems feature 400Ah of lithium battery capacity, 400 watts of roof-mounted solar on Encore’s exclusive slideout solar system, a 70-amp converter, 3,000-watt true sine wave inverter, MPPT solar charge controller and dual DC-to-DC chargers capable of providing up to 62 amps of charging power from the tow vehicle.
The ROG 12BH-FB Survival Series is designed for adventurers who want big capability in a compact package. The trailer features an exterior pop-up wet bath providing more than seven feet of headroom, while the trailer itself remains low enough to fit inside a standard-size residential garage, Encore RV said. With flexible sleeping configurations, the 12BH-FB can accommodate two to five people inside, with the ability to add a rooftop tent for even greater sleeping capacity.
The ROG 14RKB Survival Series gives attendees another opportunity to experience Encore’s rugged ROG construction and adventure-focused design, while the newly renovated VENU 17TB showcases a different side of Encore — combining off-grid capability and durable, wood-free construction with a more traditional travel-trailer interior and expanded comfort.
All three models showcase the construction philosophy behind Encore RV, including 100% wood-free construction, an all-aluminum chassis and frame, composite flooring, aluminum cabinetry and one-piece roof construction engineered for owners who expect their trailers to venture well beyond the campground, the company said.
“Overland Expo is exactly where we want people to experience an Encore RV,” said Rich Schnippel of Encore RV. “These are customers who understand that how a trailer is built matters just as much as the features inside it. We’re bringing three very different models to Virginia so attendees can get inside them, see the construction firsthand, ask questions and determine which type of Encore best fits the way they want to travel.”
Encore RV said it also invites RV dealers attending Overland Expo East to stop by the display and meet with factory representatives. Dealers will have the opportunity to examine the products firsthand, learn more about Encore’s growing ROG, VENU and REVUE product lines, and see the construction methods and features that differentiate Encore RV in the adventure and lightweight travel-trailer markets.
Overland Expo East takes place Oct. 23-25, at Oak Ridge Estate in Arrington, Virginia. Stop by the Encore RV and Bumgarner Camping Center display to tour the trailers, meet the teams and see Encore RV’s models firsthand.
