RV Designer Unveils New Exterior Lighting Planogram
Retail science is clear — in stores, consumers respond to clean lines, symmetry and effective use of color. In the RV aftermarket, RV Designer (RVD) is a recognized merchandising leader in helping consumers find, select and buy the right product quickly.

RV Designer President John Tinghitella said, “We focus on replacement categories that tend to get messy at point-of-sale. Lighting is a perfect example. Brands have come and gone, and dealers have been inundated over time with assortments that can become cluttered, slow-moving and consume too much precious shelf space. We see that as an opportunity. Consumers are less focused on ‘brand’ and more focused on what we call the four key replacement criteria: function, color, hole pattern and footprint. RVD’s new range includes 35 of the key-moving exterior light products designed to organize the category. We cover most consumer replacement needs, all within a 4-foot planogram.”
The assortment includes key replacement products across lenses, marker lights, backup lights and taillights, providing a practical mix of both LED and incandescent applications, RVD said. Each product is presented in easy, snap-closed packaging that keeps the assortment clean and organized while allowing consumers to clearly see the product and quickly identify what they need.
Tinghitella added, “The goal is simple — give the consumer the right choices without making them sort through a wall of product. At the same time, we’re giving the dealer a more productive use of valuable retail space. It’s lean, clean and organized — and it makes the buying decision easier.”
The new exterior lighting planogram (Part #KIT-ELT ) is another example of RV Designer’s commitment to merchandising excellence, the company said, combining the right product assortment with smart presentation to help dealers maximize the productivity of their retail space.
