Pebble Debuts 2027 EV Model at ‘Camp Pebble’ Event in California

This week, nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the rugged San Mateo mountains, Pebble turned a central California camp resort into a gathering of moon buggies.

The all-electric OEM hosted its experiential event to debut the newest edition of the Flow travel trailer, giving a diverse group of content creators and media representatives the chance to experience their own “spaceship” for a night, while mingling with Pebble owners and the team — all in the heart of a eucalyptus grove.

RV PRO was on-site at Costanoa — the stunning camp resort and lodge in Pescadero, California, that served as the day’s backdrop of undisturbed wilderness, rolling hills and secluded beaches nearby. In contrast, and somehow still blending seamlessly with nature, were the 18 Flows — including two model year 2027s — in shades of Sand, Fern and Sky.

The essence behind the Flow’s exterior design is rooted in nature, said co-founder and CEO Bingrui Yang. Color-blocking with organic shapes and round corners, with a large black space in the middle of a contrasting color, is inspired by a pebble sitting in a river.

The group was treated to a choice of hiking with a nature expert or a sound bath and yoga for the afternoon, followed later by an elaborate outdoor dinner prepared by celebrity chef Ryan Scott.

“This is breaking bread for us in two ways,” Ryan Levenson, senior marketing and communications director, told RV PRO. The event brought together both the OEM’s current owners and prospective eyes, with many content creators in the RV, outdoors and electric vehicle space showcasing the new Flow for large followings online.

The official report from RV PRO: this is an electric RV where automation and ease-of-use are taken to the next level — akin to a camper that parks itself like a giant RC toy. The travel trailer’s Magic Hitch sees a hitch ball, aligns itself and couples automatically, all from an iPad — which also guides the trailer into tight driveways, campsites or garages, rotating and inching backward until the Flow sits exactly right.

“The world’s first dual-motor active towing system matches your car’s every move, braking when you brake, powering on the climbs. It pulls its own weight so your car doesn’t have to, for an easy, safe and fuel efficient drive. Range anxiety is a thing of the past when towing with an EV,” the company said.

Yang also showcased an automation dubbed Auto Dump — and it does exactly what you think, at the touch of a button.

Pebble announced Oct. 5 a slew of additional upgrades for the 2027 Pebble Flow. Solar capability now reaches up to 4 kilowatts, combining as much as 3 kilowatts from deployable panels with an optional, integrated 1.1-kilowatt rooftop setup for longer stays on the road.

The OEM’s recently announced partnership with Jackery helps build on top of the Integrated Solar Package, adding four 500-watt portable panels for $4,000 — more than enough to surpass typical daily consumption, air conditioning included, Yang explained.

“For the first time, buyers can choose between two interior floorplans, including a new Twin Bed floorplan that converts into a king in seconds alongside the existing RoomFlip Murphy queen and desk,” he added. “A full-length powered awning extends shaded coverage by 50%, while Clay joins Aster as a second interior color. Pebble has also begun delivering Boost Mode, taking Easy Tow to the next level — further increasing tow vehicle range and acceleration when needed. It arrives for all Pebble Flow owners soon as a free over-the-air [OTR] update.”

The ability to receive OTR updates to an existing camper was a huge reason why people decided to purchase a Flow, Pebble owners shared with the group. Together, the 2027 updates build on more than 300 improvements put into production since first deliveries in June 2025, many requested by owners themselves.

The fully featured 2027 Founders Edition starts at $189,000 and the Magic Pack trim starts at $159,000, including one of RV PRO’s favorite features — the Smart Glass windows that quickly change opacity for privacy without the use of shades.
