40 Under 40: Justin Bewernick
President; Atlas Trailer Coach Products Ltd.; With company: 21 Years | In industry: 21 Years

Justin learned the industry at Atlas Trailer Coach Products Ltd. from the ground up.
During his 21 years with the Canadian RV parts distributor, Justin has worked in warehouse shipping and receiving, inside sales and purchasing, all of which gave him a firsthand understanding of how each department operates.
Then, in May 2025, he stepped into the company’s top role as president, fulfilling his father Garry’s succession plan, which he established before his death in September 2025.
Taking over a family business is a significant endeavor under any circumstances, but even more so while navigating his father’s declining health and eventual passing during the transition.
Through this difficult time, Justin focused on strengthening the business and making sure Atlas continued to serve Canadian RV dealers. The national distributor operates four locations, and Justin has worked to improve the systems supporting those operations.
One of his first steps was to create a new business development position to support the sales team.
“[But] one of the biggest improvements we’ve seen under his leadership is the improvement in our B2B website and its functionality,” Justin’s nominator says. “More and more of our dealers use the B2B [site] as a reliable resource. Justin works closely with our IT department to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.”
Justin also participates in industry events such as the RV Industry Association’s Aftermarket Conference, where Atlas sends multiple team members to vendor meetings. He sponsored an event at the conference and helped organize its golf tournament. He also ensures that Atlas maintains its associate memberships with the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Canada and its provincial counterparts.
His willingness to improve the company while remaining active in the broader industry stands out. “Justin is a hard worker and has a focus on trying to improve the way we run the business,” his nominator says.
Justin’s background in multiple areas before entering management gives him insight into how leadership decisions affect employees handling product receiving, customer service and inventory management.
Now he is applying that perspective to the company’s next chapter.
Outside the office, Justin remains active year-round. During Canada’s warmer months, he plays golf, camps in his RV and rides dirt bikes on mountain trails. When winter arrives, he trades those activities for hockey, playing on a men’s team and attending Calgary Flames games.
Justin’s advice for up-and-coming leaders in the RV industry:
Have fun, stay humble and lead by example. The RV industry is always growing and changing, so lean into change rather than resist it. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Most importantly, focus on how you can make things better for your team, your customers and the industry as a whole.
What it means to Justin to be a 40 Under 40 honoree:
I’m truly grateful for the recognition. There are many coworkers, friends and family that I can thank who have invested and supported me along the way. I’ve been fortunate to have some great people in my corner. I’m excited about the future and the opportunity to continue growing alongside the people and businesses that make this industry so great.
