Unlike a locking gas cap that leaves the housing exposed, The RV Fuel Vault bolts directly over the factory filler-neck bezel to convert the open recess into a sealed, locked, factory-finished door.

Molded in the USA from a proprietary 3/16-inch fiber-filled high impact reinforced material, The RV Fuel Vault is virtually unbreakable, 100% chemically inert to diesel, gasoline, DEF and road salts, UV-stabilized, and rated from -40 F to 220 F, the company said. It installs in 8 to 15 minutes using basic hand tools and the factory mounting pattern, requiring zero drilling, cutting or bodywork while keeping factory vehicle warranties intact.
