Thefts Reported at Dutchmen Mfg., Gateway RV, and Jellystone Park
A staff member of Dutchmen Mfg. reported to Elkhart County police Monday scrap wire was stolen from the business, 72440 Ind. 13, Syracuse, Ind., sometime between last Friday and early Monday morning.

The employee told police the suspect or suspects broke into the property through its north gate.
In related RV news, an employee of Gateway RV reported to Elkhart County police Tuesday the theft of a Gray Wolf trailer from a property, 72298 Ind. 13, sometime between Jan. 17 and Jan. 22.
Finally, three men face accusations they went on a burglary spree at a campground in Kosciusko County.
The suspects are accused of pilfering multiple items from 18 lots at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, 1916 C.R. N. 850 East, near Pierceton around 11 p.m. Monday, Kosciusko County police said in a report. Electronics, firearms and coins were among the stolen objects.
Kenneth Sanchez, 19, Converse, was arrested at the park on a charge of carrying a handgun without a license.
The other two suspects led police on pursuit across Kosciusko and Whitley counties before crashing their getaway vehicle on U.S. 30 near C.R. 300 West in Whitley County, police said.
The vehicle’s driver, Michael Chapman, 28, Converse, was arrested at the crash scene on charges of resisting arrest, reckless driving and carrying a handgun without a license. His passenger, Thomas Ankrom, 29, Converse, was arrested on a charge of resisting law enforcement, Kosciusko County police said.
The three are also expected to be charged with burglary, police said.
