Boyden, Iowa-based Demco has released two new products to meet the demand of fifth wheel towing with the new 2020 Chevy/GMC pickups: Demco’s 21K UMS Chevy/GM prep fifth wheel hitch and Chevy/ GM fifth wheel OE prep bracket
“GM altered the dimensions of their OE prep system for the 2020 model year trucks and our engineering team has been working to respond to the change quickly and provide a couple of different options for our dealers and consumers. We are excited about expanding our industry leading OE fifth wheel hitch line and OE prep bracket line of products” said Doug Northcutt, Demco RV and trailer products sales manager. “These two new products help the RV dealers react quickly to the always changing OE market and expand their offering to satisfy consumer demand.”
The fifth wheel hitch option will give dealers and consumer the option of simply dropping a hitch in to the new 2020 Chevy factory prep system. The hitch features four vertical height adjustments to assist with level towing, Demco’s patented wrap around jaw system and proudly made in the USA.
The factory prep bracket provides the option of placing an ISR (Industry Standard rail) system into the bed of the truck giving the user a multitude of options. The Chevy/GM ISR bracket can be used with any stationary or slide ISR compatible fifth wheel hitch and fits in both the 8-foot and 6.5-foot beds
