Gary Bunzer, a teacher and consultant who is affectionately known as “The RV Doctor” to many in the RV industry, has been hospitalized in Seattle after falling ill to COVID-19, according to the RV Travel website.
Bunzer is in critical but stable condition in a Seattle area hospital with COVID-19, according to RV Travel, which reports that Bunzer told a friend last week that he had the coronavirus and was not feeling well.
Bunzer is a fixture in the RV industry for the many seminars he has taught at consumer shows and the many articles he has authored for consumer and industry publications, including RV PRO.
“We were surprised and disheartened to hear the news about Gary,” said Brad Worrell, editor-in-chief of RV PRO, who has spoken with Bunzer many times for stories. “On behalf of everyone at RV PRO, we wish Gary a full and speedy recovery.”
