Togo Group Acquires RVillage
The Togo Group, a technology platform company geared toward travelers, has added RVillage to its brands.
RVillage is a social messaging platform, similar to Facebook, geared specifically for RVers.
RVillage joins Togo RV and Roadtrippers as the brands overseen by Togo Group, which is a subsidiary of THOR that operates independently.
“It’s the best thing that could have happened for our RVillage members,” said Curtis Coleman, founder of RVillage. “The Togo Group family shares the commitment to community and member service that has been the bedrock of RVillage since the beginning. Our new alliance will deliver an even better user experience for our members.”
A company spokesperson said all of the RVillage team members were retained, andadditional staff has been hired. RVillage will also launch a new website soon, powered by technology from the Togo Group.
“We’re thrilled to have RVillage join the Togo Group family,” said Danny Hest, CEO of Togo Group. “We’ve long admired the vibrant and rapidly growing RV community that RVillage has built. It’s our mission to provide the tools and information necessary for RVers to have the best possible user experience, and we believe that RVillage’s ability to help people foster connections is very aligned with our vision to put the RV experience first. We don’t plan to change anything about RVillage except to provide it with more resources to help accelerate its growth and offer more benefits to the community.”
