The Great Outdoors RV CO in Greeley, Colo., also known as TGORV, moved into its state-of-the-art, 15-acre dealership in July of 2020, and now it has announced a new partnership with Houston-based TAXA Outdoors, makers of what it refers to as “mobile human habitats.”
The dealership will feature three of the latest models of TAXA’s mobile habitats: the Cricket, Mantis and TigerMoth, all of which were designed by award-winning former NASA senior architect, Garrett Finney.
“We’re proud to partner with TAXA here at The Great Outdoors,” said Matt Brown, general manager of TGORV. “We’ve found the perfect complement to our vision for the Colorado camper: an unparalleled product and build, and an unforgettable experience unlike any other, which is the very thing we’ve seen emanated from TAXA Outdoors and its team. These habitats are just super cool, and you have to see them to appreciate all they will allow you to do.”
Speaking further of the TAXA announcement, Kyle Ellinger, sales manager for TGORV, said of the quality of product: “This is a product that is designed to maximize efficiency. Everything TAXA has produced doesn’t fit into any category of the RV market and we can’t wait to show Colorado just how remote and off the grid RVing is about to get.”

In other TAXA news, the company has introduced an Overland Edition to its Cricket towable trailer, following up on similar packages that it introduced for its TigerMoth and Mantis lines late last year.
The Overland package for the Cricket includes Timbren Axleless suspension, including a four-inch lift and Lock-n-Roll hitch, which greatly improve ride quality and off-road capability. “With its included premium accessories, this tougher, stronger Cricket can take you further down a dirt road,” the company said.
