The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) is once again looking forward to an in-person Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) in the fall. As part of that event, the ARVC will have its Awards of Excellence dinner, at which the organization rewards ARVC members for outstanding accomplishments and shines a light on those who go above and beyond in efforts to serve the outdoor hospitality industry.
Nominations are now being accepted for the ARVC Awards of Excellence. The awards are part of a nomination and judging process that runs throughout the year. It provides parks and businesses the opportunity to tout accomplishments and highlight their commitment to excellence. Winning one of these awards helps a business earn peer recognition and promotes the quality of the park to campers on a local and national basis, the organization said.
The Awards of Excellence include the four ARVC Park of the Year awards, which are based on park size: 100 sites or less, 101-250 sites, 251- 499 sites and 500 or more sites. Additionally, there are several awards that go to individuals, including the Campground Partner of the Year, Chairman’s Award, Pioneer Award, Stan Martin Award, Herb Strauss Awards and more.
