Florida-based insurance company Brown & Brown reports revenues in the third quarter of $770.3 million, an increase of 14.3 percent over the same quarter a year ago.
The company’s net income for the quarter was $146.4 million, a 9.3 percent increase over the previous quarter.
Revenues for the first nine months of the year were $2.3 billion, a 17 percent increase over the same period last year.
Income before income taxes for the nine months ended Sept. 30 was $622.0 million, an increase of $128.8 million, or 26.1 percent, compared to the same period of the prior year.
