Foretravel Motorcoach of Nacogdoches, Texas, has just become Certified Green by TRA Certification. Foretravel has earned the organization’s Emerald off-grid level of certification since units are shipped with 2-kilowatt solar panels standard.

For its Green Certification, Foretravel motorcoaches have been evaluated in 4 categories: Resource Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, Water Efficiency and Indoor Air Quality.
With regards to Resource Efficiency, Foretravel production recycles or reuses a high percentage of manufacturing waste. They utilize numerous jigs & CNC systems to reduce waste and maximize material usage. Several materials are cut to size by the supplier, and many materials are shipped using reusable/returnable shipping containers. They are also able to source certain materials and components from local suppliers which has a significant reduction on the environmental impact.
Leazenby says, “Foretravel Motorcoach will be the only Class A that is Certified Green. This .is exciting because these units are built with such attention to detail and I’m so happy that sustainability is one of those details.”
