Tennessee-based TerraRover Overland Co. joins the adventure trailer industry as a new brand backed by a half-century of manufacturing excellence, it said. The newest player in the overlanding market is launching its brand with a product line of two lightweight, towable trailers.

The company is no stranger to building rugged trailers.

A spin-off of the Wil-Ro brand – which manufactured truck bodies and trailers since 1973 – TerraRover said it pulls from nearly five decades of craftsmanship, operating independently with a focus on high-quality trailers for the outdoor adventure and excursion market.

“TerraRover will bring an established history of craftsmanship and high-quality products, paired with energy, excitement and innovation to the Overland industry,” said Joshua J. Coster, president and owner of TerraRover.

Initially offering lightweight, two-wheel towable overland and camping trailers, TerraRover said it “is poised to capture its share of the growing adventure tourism industry by making rugged and reliable trailers, all while cultivating a loyal tribe of TerraRover enthusiasts.”

The company said that it is looking for distributors nationwide to carry its products and join what it calls the “founding tribe.”
