General RV Center has been named one of Michigan’s largest family-owned businesses and the top family-owned RV dealership in the state.
Crain’s Detroit, a Michigan-based business publication, released its annual list ranking Michigan businesses that are majority-owned by members of the same family and have reached a second generation of management. The 2024 list recognizes General RV as No. 18 and the only RV dealership to make the list.
“We’re proud to continue our tradition of being one of the Michigan’s largest family-owned businesses,” said Loren Baidas, General RV’s CEO and grandson of founder Abe Baidas. “I want to thank every member of our team whose hard work and dedication continue to earn us these accolades. General RV is headquartered in Michigan with six locations across the state and nearly 20 locations nationwide. In 2023, Crain’s Detroit ranked the company as the 14th fastest-growing business. In 2022, it was ranked 15th.
