Go RVing, DreamWorks Movie Partnership Highlights Outdoor Exploration
Go RVing, the marketing arm of the RV industry, has joined forces with the upcoming animated film The Wild Robot to ignite a sense of wonder and inspire families to embark on RV adventures and find their true nature.
With a track record of very popular animated franchises like Shrek and Kung Fu Panda, DreamWorks Animation is betting The Wild Robot will be the next big, animated success. Based on the beloved book by Peter Brown, The Wild Robot tells the heartwarming story of Roz, a robot who awakens on a remote island and must learn to survive and connect with the natural world around her.
“There was an immediate and powerful synergy between the film’s themes of exploration, connection and family bonding, and how Go RVing promotes the RV lifestyle,” said Go RVing Senior Director Jeremy Greene. “Through this partnership we aim to introduce families to the joys of RV travel while fostering a love for nature and a spirit of adventure.”
To build excitement for the movie and RVing, Go RVing developed a microsite blending the lovable movie characters with facts and benefits about RVing along with digital ads that will run over the next two months.
By partnering with The Wild Robot movie, Go RVing said it is tapping into the film’s captivating story and lovable characters to spark curiosity and ignite a passion for outdoor exploration. Inviting families to create their own adventures, discover hidden gems and forge lifelong memories on the open road.
The partnership serves as a testament to the power of storytelling and its ability to inspire real-world action. It encourages families to embrace the spirit of Roz, to step outside their comfort zones, and to discover the magic and wonder that awaits them in the natural world, all from the comfort and convenience of an RV.
