Among the list of high-end features is its Aqua-Hot 250D hydronic heating solution. The system provides evenly distributed heat throughout the Nautica and continuous hot water.
The Aqua-Hot 250D uses the Nautica’s onboard diesel fuel and is operated by 12VDC for off-grid applications. When plugged into shore power, it can run on a 110VAC electric element. Controlled by a thermostat, it delivers 40,000 Btu’s-per-hour of warmth, without cold spots or dry, blowing air for residential-style comfort. Low voltage fans ensure near-silent operation of the highly efficient heat exchangers.
Providing continuous hot water, the Aqua-Hot 250D eliminates the need for a separate water heater. It delivers a 1.5 gallons-per-minute flow at 110-120 degrees F, making it ideal for showering, laundry and kitchen use.
