Blue Dog RV has announced the targeted opening for their newest site, located in Bakersfield, Calif.
“The Blue Dog RV executive team has worked diligently to meet our January 2021 goal of being ‘operational’ at our Bakersfield location, and it looks like the hard work has paid off,” said John Asplund, co-owner of Blue Dog RV. “We have acquired top-notch facilities (both sales and service), which we feel will be a perfect platform to sell and service our core brands. We fully expect to have our team in place and be ready-to-go the first week of January.”
Blue Dog RV currently operates 15 sales and service locations; the Bakersfield location will be number 16. Blue Dog RV said it has additional growth plans for 2021 and beyond and is “very bullish” on the RV industry at this time.
“Our goal from the onset has been to look at all markets that we feel would be a good fit for our business model, but grow at a very responsible rate,” said Marc Hauser, chief operating officer. “There are several markets that are on our ‘radar’ and we are currently targeting, our team believes that the industry is poised to have a phenomenal run for the foreseeable future and we want to be in a position capture our fair share of that business.”
