Daytona Beach, Fla., F&I provider Brown & Brown announces the acquisition of two companies to begin the new year, serving Ohio and the eastern U.S.
Brown & Brown of Ohio, a subsidiary of Brown & Brown, has acquired substantially all the assets of Berry Insurance Group, founded in the Buckeye State in 2002.
Mark Berry will continue to lead the Berry Insurance Group team operating from its offices in Terrace Park and Lebanon, Ohio.
Also, Brown & Brown Dealer Services (BBDS) has acquired substantially all of the assets of ADM Marketing Group and its affiliate, ADM Insurance Services.
Founded in 1987, ADM is an independent sales and service organization providing F&I products and sales support to automotive and powersport dealers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Brown & Brown said that following the transaction, the ADM team will continue doing business from its existing location in Camp Hill, Pa., and will become part of BBDS, which operates under the leadership of Mike Neal.
“Howie (Harold Haldeman, owner of ADM) and his team have built one of the leading F&I operations in the area by leveraging their full-service product offerings and outstanding service to cultivate a uniquely loyal dealership customer base,” said Neal. “This transaction represents an exciting opportunity to continue growing our BBDS operations, and we are delighted to welcome the talented ADM team aboard.”
