A recent report by Elena Gorgan of AutoEvolution highlights Minnesota-based Camp365’s T-Model unit. The following is an excerpt:
The name Camp365 first pinged on the radar in 2018, when AWOL Outdoors, Inc. introduced the functional prototype of a towable that traveled very small down the road and then “bloomed” into a full habitat at camp. Imagined as part teardrop, part travel trailer, and part pop-up trailer, this hybrid used smart, patented design, clever engineering, and a wide range of options for maximum convenience and functionality.
The Camp365 has been on the market ever since, with only minor modifications. In 2023, the manufacturer announced a smaller, pickup truck-ready version of it called the T-Model. This one wouldn’t travel behind the vehicle but go instead in the bed of a pickup truck.
The same patented design and clever engineering allowed for a light weight and an even smaller form factor, which made the T-Model ideal for electric trucks and smaller gas or diesel pickups. At the time, it was announced that production would kick off in 2024, with an estimated starting price of $25,000.

The T-Model is a box with a prism-like structure on top. The box is for storage exclusively, whether you choose to haul appliances, water tanks, or gear, while the structure is the habitat itself. You just can’t tell in road mode, because it’s all tucked in.
Using an all-aluminum frame, fiberglass walls, and double-layered Aqualon canvas, the T-Model expands at camp into a full habitat with standing height. In standard spec, it’s an empty space, but Camp365 offers a wide range of options so you can fit it with whatever you need.
