Camping World Opens Fifth Erehwon Mountain Outfitter Store
Erehwon Mountain Outfitter, a Midwest specialty outdoor retailer, is opening its fifth store and largest facility at 1209 E. Golf Road in Schaumburg, Ill., exit 67 off of Interstate 90. The 22,000-square-foot store carries outdoor gear for camping, hiking, backpacking, biking and kayaking to grilling out with friends.
Camping World Holdings acquired Erehwon Mountain Outfitter in January.
“As outdoor activities are such an exciting part of daily life here, we are committed to providing our customers the best service matched by products that make outdoor activities accessible and enjoyable,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World Holdings. “We look forward to serving the Schaumburg community and invite everyone to join our grand opening festivities.”
The grand opening will kick off at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, with a ribbon cutting with Al Larson, the Mayor of Schaumburg, and a special appearance from Marcus Lemonis.
Free refreshments and snacks will immediately follow for guests. The event includes savings on an assortment of products, clearance items and fantastic giveaways for the first 200 customers receiving a gift with purchase, while supplies last. There will also be gear raffles and giveaways throughout the weekend. Also, former Chicago Bears football player Steve McMichael will be giving away prizes.
Located next to the Schaumburg DMV and west of Woodfield Mall, the store offers outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment from brands like The North Face, Columbia, Keen and Yeti. A portion of the store is dedicated to an outlet for larger savings. Erehwon is also excited to offer a cold room where guests can test winter outerwear, as well as on-site bike repair and rack installation services.
