Community: Spartan Donates $75,000 to Regional Health Park
Spartan Motors presented mid-Michigan regional health park, AL!VE, with a $75,000 donation yesterday to support its wellness programs. The donation, presented by Daryl Adams, Spartan Motors president and CEO, represents the ninth installment of a larger $1 million donation, originally pledged in 2009, on behalf of The Spartan Motors (Chassis) Foundation.
AL!VE is an experience-based destination health park that provides inspiration and support for the greater Charlotte and mid-Michigan communities to transform, empower, and enhance personal well-being.
“Spartan Motors has demonstrated a commitment to community health and AL!VE year after year,” said Matt Rush, president and CEO of Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital. “It is clear that this organization understands and appreciates the work we are doing together, and this donation allows us to continue to help our community members remove barriers and help them to be the very best they can be.”
The Spartan Motors Foundation represents the charitable arm of Spartan and was developed to positively impact the tri-county area surrounding the company’s headquarters where the majority of its employees reside. Spartan is the lead donor for AL!VE.
“AL!VE is a state-of-the-art health and wellness center, right here in our backyard,” said Adams. “Ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, their families, and our neighbors is vital to not only Spartan’s success but to the vitality of the region. We are honored to support AL!VE and the important work they do.”
