Companies Face Fines

IOSHA fined Forest River $30,000 for having unguarded table saws and for lacking a fall protection system at its Starcraft plant in Goshen, according to WNDU.

The inspection occurred on March 26, and one of the fines was for a “repeat violation.”

A Feb. 20 inspection date resulted in $10,000 in fines against Lippert Components for violations at its plant in Middlebury.

A saw was not sufficiently guarded and employees weren’t property trained to work safely with band saws.
