Country Music, Outdoor Channel Stars Showcase Modern Buggy RVs
Modern Buggy RV, an OEM based in Edwardsburg, Michigan, is expanding its model offering and promoting new rigs through big-name ambassadors such as country music star Brantley Gilbert and the Outdoor Channel’s “Crush with Lee and Tiffany” stars.
The manufacturer said its co-owner Earl Williams is “great friends and hunting buddies with Brantley Gilbert, who took the time from his busy summer concert tour recently to take possession of his own 10RK Little Buggy model.” The company’s new 12LRK model will be used for the next 12 months on family and hunting trips by Outdoor Channel personalities Lee and Tiffany Lakosky.
“What a better way to let everyone know we have a new model and more coming,” said Williams. “The new 12LRK meets and beats all the other brands building this plan out there. We made sure of that. We have two entry doors; others only have one, so two sleeping would have to crawl over each. The inside has a fireplace mounted at their feet instead of the side and a 24-inch TV on a swivel arm. Aside from that, it’s little longer and slightly heavier than the 10RK, but shares the same great rear galley and everything else.”
“The 12LRK dry weight and hitch weight is hundreds of pounds lighter than all the other models we compared to. It is the only layout of this model we know of that fits in a garage. At 80 inches to the top of the roof rack, the Little Buggies are the ultimate HOA buster and saving at least $100 per month storing in your garage. Plus, it helps the resale value storing your trailer inside at home as well as customers are more likely to use their trailer more often,” said Chase Rhode with Field and Sports, a dealership partnered with Modern Buggy.
A California King bed length is unheard of in an RV, said Field and Sports’ Scott Rhode. “Most use a jackknife sofa or gaucho sofa bed that are 74 inches or less and are uncomfortable at best to sleep on.”
“Furthermore, it’s super exciting we will have for the upcoming Open House Expo a new Big Buggy 14 with a fixed true queen 60- by 80-inch bed, dinette, bathroom and kitchen inside. All-in-all, we will have four Big Buggy and two Little Buggy models before year end,” said Erin Olds, senior sales representative with Modern Buggy.
Modern Buggy RV manufacturers Little Buggy and Big Buggy travel trailers, Class B vans and branded SkyeDen roof top tents, awnings and other camping accessories. It is privately owned and operated.
