Entegra Coach will display a luxury diesel coach in Washington, D.C., for the RV Industry Association’s Committee Week and Advocacy Day.
Committee Week, occurring June 3-7, is an event where industry leaders meet, nurture ideas and collectively chart the future course for the RV industry. As part of Advocacy Day on Wednesday, June 6, industry leaders meet with Members of Congress and other key federal agencies to raise awareness of the industry and issues affecting it.
This year marks the third Advocacy Day in which RVIA has met with the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA), however, it is the first time RVIA will have a unit on display at the Department of Transportation. The Entegra Coach unit on display will provide NHTSA a first-hand look at the product they are regulating.
“It is an honor for us to be a part of the legislative and regulatory process,” said Matt Thompson, COO of Jayco. “So much of what is decided by policy makers in D.C. impacts the entire RV industry.”
