Video: First Class of Incarcerated Students Graduate as RV Techs in Texas
The Texas Department of Corrections has released a video highlighting the first class of new RV technicians that has come about because of its partnership with the RV Technical Institute.
A partnership between the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Windham School District, and RV Technical Institute led to the first class of incarcerated students in the nation graduating as level one RV technicians.
As the third-fastest growing career in the nation, RV technicians are needed all across Texas. These 10 graduates, all within one year of release, will be able to use their knowledge, certifications, and educational experience to obtain a job in this high-demand field upon release to their Texas communities.
Working with prison populations is just one of the ways the RV Technical Institute is partnering with organizations to recruit new RV technicians into the RV industry.
