According to a recent News & Insights report, Go RVing participated in last week’s IMM in New York City, meeting with more than 40 travel journalists and editors to position RV travel as an affordable, flexible and experiential way to explore the U.S. — driving long-term consumer awareness that supports demand across the RV industry.

Top story themes included trip affordability, travel flexibility, RV-2-50 and the new Travel Passport, pet-friendly travel and stories that break down perceived barriers to RV ownership.

Go RVing met with AARP, CBS, The Boston Globe, Fodor’s, The New York Times, Fast Company, PBS, Good Housekeeping, Travel + Leisure and more.

Travel media are actively prioritizing domestic travel stories tied to major cultural moments like America’s 250th, Route 66’s 100th, and the FIFA World Cup, so Go RVing and RVIA advised those in the RV industry to continue pushing this content on their owned channels and in media pitches.
